The continuing adventures of the barbers at Calvin's Barbershop. Gina, a stylist at the beauty shop next door, is now trying to cut in on his buisness. Calvin is again struggling to keep his father's shop and traditions alive--this time against urban developers looking to replace mom & pop establishments with name-brand chains. The world changes, but some things never go out of style--from current events and politics to relationships and love, you can still say anything you want at the barbershop. 理发师和心理医生。 卡尔文（艾斯·库珀 Ice Cube 饰）的理发店在经历了上一集的危机之后总算是无惊无险的继续营业下去了，艾迪（塞德里克·凯尔斯 Cedric the Entertainer 饰）还是老样子，吉米（西恩·帕特里克·汤玛斯 Sean Patrick Thomas 饰）也更加的能够融入到这个集体之中去了。泰利（伊芙 Eve 饰）终于放弃了自己水性杨花的男友，选择了苦苦暗恋自己多时的邓卡（伦纳德·厄尔·豪兹 Leonard Earl Howze 饰），也算是结局圆满。 　　就在理发店的一切都在按部就班的运作时，变故发生了，在理发店的隔壁开了一家美容店，这家美容店无论是从装潢还是服务风格上看来，都要比卡尔文的理发店要新潮的多，更糟的是，美容院的老板吉娜（奎恩·拉提法 Queen Latifah 饰）貌美风趣又幽默，一下子就吸引了社区里顾客们的注意。
