The provincial distillery \"passed over\" to new Moscow owners. The young ambitious Vladimir took the place of the old director of the Distillery under house arrest. On the first day, he establishes his own rules and gets rid of everything old. Namely, he fires the old secretary Dina, who was the soul of the team, the impudent conveyor adjuster Ira, and the young technologist Tatyana, who is too demanding on quality standards.
