Against the backdrop of the raging Maidan of 2013-2014 in Ukraine, SBU Lieutenant Colonel Igor Melnik is investigating the robbery of a large bank in Donetsk. Quite quickly, an ordinary criminal case turns into a complicated political thriller: Melnik finds himself in the thick of intrigue at the very top. Love and death, betrayal and devotion in the context of a historical coup that broke the destinies of many people and scattered them on opposite sides of the barricades.
