豆腐街是一部剧情片，故事发生在世界第二大战之后，童养媳梁四妹（许美珍饰演）随家婆下南洋寻找家公不果，被豆腐店老板娘收留，住进大杂楼。黄梨王之子宋以哲（宏荣饰演）因遭人暗算而导致失忆，幸得四妹相救。四妹细心照顾以哲，两人互生情愫。但以哲失忆前是钟情于思想进步的白水仙（郑秀珍饰演）。 　　苦命女安安（林晓佩饰演）因与丈夫在战争中失去联系，沦落为烟花女郎，后来邂逅乐于助人的青年阿乐（沈倾剡饰演）。二人渐生情愫，却因隐瞒身份，产生重重误会…
