好间谍是一部剧情片，休·杰克曼有望主演新片《好间谍》(The Good Spy)，巴塔萨·科马库(《惊涛飓浪》《绝命海拔》)有望执导，都没有正式确定。基于Kai Bird所著传记书《The Good Spy: The Life and Death of Robert Ames》，讲述CIA特工Robert Ames的生平故事，该片2014年就已立项，Parkes+MacDonald Image Nation制作，F. Scott Frazier(《极限特工3》《极速之巅》)编写剧本，Bird将担任顾问，片方目前正在等重写版剧本。 　　Ames强烈支持打破障碍，尝试在美国和中东之间建立健康、积极的关系，他在1983年美国驻贝鲁特大使馆的爆炸中丧生，其在阿灵顿国家公墓的墓碑是所有墓碑中唯一一个铭文中带有“CIA”的字样。
