In this bold, engaging and provocative experiment, Doctor Javid Abdelmoneim (pictured) aims to find out whether stripping away the pink and blue will change the way this class of seven year-olds think.

Dr Javid asks if the way we treat boys and girls in childhood is the reason why there isn't gender equality in adulthood and carries out a bold but simple experiment at a primary school on the Isle of Wight.
