猫与电车是一部剧情片，29岁自称角色作家的小雫，寄住在朋友美雪家。以美雪结婚为契机，雫开始了寻找租房之路。但在这节骨眼上，她的全部家当却被偷了。绝望之际，警察石田向她伸出了援手，她开始在儿童福利院里工作。这时的她偶遇了自己疏远已久的姐姐。

Shikoku Katya (age 6) is a girl with a rich imagination -- so much so that she sees everything around her as a cartoon character. Shikoku's dream is 'filling the whole town with my characters!' The years pass, and before she realizes it, Shikoku is already twenty-nine and a self-described character artist.
