监狱13是一部剧情片，女大学生麻理参加了人气虚拟主播索菲亚的公开实验，姐姐由真和姐夫在不清楚实验内容的情况下就将她送了过去。麻理到达实验现场后，看到了边长4米的正方形监狱。实验方法是将12名志愿者分为看守和囚犯两队，模拟体验监狱的生活，根据立场和分工的不同观察人格的变化。在7天时间内，麻理成为了监狱的看守，但实验却事故不断，直至出现了死亡...

Inspired by the experiment at the Stanford prison in 1971 the film depicts university gal Mari who participates in an experiment where a controlled group is brought together in an environment they quickly recognize as a jail. The group is divided into prisoners and guards and given a week. Within the controlled group Mari is given the key and is a security guard. It does not take long for the assigned roles to act the part, take on the persona and receive or inflict violence.
