大祸临头 第二季是一部喜剧片，American boy Rob gets Irish girl Sharon pregnant while they hook up for a week while on a business trip to London.

Sharon and Rob are now married with a son and a dog and Sharon is pregnant again. After several false alarms the baby is born, a girl whom they call Muireann and the couple invite friends and family to a very awkward celebratory party where the animosity between Sharon and Rob's mother comes to a head. Next day they make an unfortunate discovery.
