星期三的情事是一部剧情,爱情,悬疑片，咏一郎（本木雅弘 饰）是一名编辑，和妻子爱子（天海佑希 饰）结婚多年，感情一直十分恩爱，爱子在事业上亦是一名女强人，两人在一起旗鼓相当，是旁人眼中羡慕的神仙眷侣。咏一郎和爱子去参加爱子好友天地操（石田光 饰）丈夫的葬礼，在葬礼上，操奇怪的举动吸引了咏一郎的注意。 　　在此之后，爱子常常邀请孤身一人的操到家里做客，操也将家搬到了咏一郎和爱子的家附近。某日，咏一郎在上班的途中经过了操的家，操邀请咏一郎进去吃早饭，一来二去之间，咏一郎和操之间开始了一段背德的恋情。通过操的描述，咏一郎渐渐发现了妻子不为人知的一面和精心隐藏的秘密。

35 year-old Eiichiro and 33-year old Ai lead a seemingly happy married life. A young couple with no children, they spend time together and enjoy each other's company whenever possible. But having a sweet wife like Ai doesn't always satisfy Eiichiro's irresistible cravings for excitement. The strength of their relationship is tested when Ai's long-time friend, Misao unexpectedly steps into their life and secretly seduces unsuspecting Eiichiro. This light-hearted drama explores the desires of men and women as Eiichiro and Ai struggle in their search for true happiness.
