Nucky and Margaret host a lavish New Year's Eve party. He announces to all his associates that he will only be selling liquor to Arnold Rothstein and anyone who wants to buy alcohol will have to deal through him. This angers the vicious Gyp Rosetti, and he alienates everyone involved. Gilliam, who now operates a brothel, wants Tommy to think of her as his mother and requests that Richard not refer to the now dead Angela.
