奔向大海是一部剧情,奇幻片，藤冈靛在片中饰演引发奇迹的正体不明的主人公拉乌，尽管他的国籍与语言不明，但是温暖的笑容却有种不可思议的力量，影片通过超越国籍与宗教的年轻人们的友情，自然地反应人们的生活。影片全篇外景在印度尼西亚苏门答腊岛拍摄，用时一个月。

An Indonesian town by the sea has been ruined by war and tsunami. A man is found on the coast there by Atsuko and her son Takashi. They are working in disaster recovery. The man speaks poor Japanese and Indonesian. They name him Rau which means sea in Indonesian and protect him. Soon, Rau is connected with many miraculous cases.
